Núria Parera

Núria Parera was born in Barcelona in 1972. She started out as a journalist but soon discovered that she preferred telling and making up stories. She has been writing scripts for television series and publishing children's stories for over ten years. She is the author of five stories about the different neighbourhoods of Barcelona, which form the series "Las Siete Vidas de la Gata Marga" ("The Seven Lives of Marga the Cat"), illustrated by Pilarín Bayés. She also wrote the text and songs for the Yoko cantata, which premiered in 2014 at the Teatro de La Palma in Teià (Barcelona).
