Founded in 1970 by Luciano García, Asturlibros began as a modest venture representing renowned publishing houses such as Juventud, Marcombo, Destino, Paraninfo, McGraw-Hill, and others, distributing their books across Asturias, Cantabria, and León. Operating from a small warehouse on Fermín Canella Street in Oviedo, the company started with just four employees.
